What is the hotel cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy varies from property to property; typically 24 or 72 hours. Each cancellation policy is published within the housing portion of the registration. After the cancellation deadline has passed, attendees will be charged for the cost of one room night should they cancel or postpone their arrival date.
If I cancel my Summit registration, can I transfer my hotel reservation to another attendee?
No. Credit card data may not transfer from one attendee to another, which makes transferring hotel confirmations from one to another not feasible.
Can I book multiple rooms on my registration for myself and a colleague?
Attendees may book only one hotel reservation under their registration.
What if I don’t check in on my scheduled arrival date?
Guests who do not arrive on their confirmed check-in date will be charged a no-show fee by the hotel property, equal to one night's rate.
Do I need a credit card to reserve a room?
Yes. All attendees must provide a credit card in order to secure a guest room.
Can I contact the hotel directly to make a hotel reservation and receive the discounted Summit rate?
The group rate is available through group registration only.
Can I contact the hotel directly to change my existing reservation?
Please make edits to your reservation directly in the registration so that when the hotel pulls your reservation information, they capture all changes you require.
Only after the hotel cut-off date (June 1 or June 9, depending on the property you secure) can you contact the hotel directly for changes.
When will I receive my hotel confirmation?
Hotel confirmations will be shared on June 16.
I want to arrive earlier/stay later than the system is showing as available. How can I adjust my reservation?
Guest room inventory within the registration platform is based on first come/first serve. You are welcome to secure your extension directly with the hotel (at rack rate) and then ask the hotel to “link” your two reservations.
You may also secure your own reservation, including your early/late stay dates, at a property outside what is offered on the group registration.
