Where in San Francisco will the event take place?

The conference will take place at Moscone South. There may be some other events and activities that are all within a short walking distance to Moscone South.

What is included in the full conference all-access pass?

The full conference all-access pass will include keynotes, Expo Hall, breakout sessions, networking events, and virtual access.

What is included in the virtual pass?

Access the livestream of select sessions plus on-demand access to all sessions following the live air time, within 24 hours of the live air.

How do I qualify for a group rate for the conference pass?

Group rate of 25% off are offered to groups of four or more attendees registering together. You can select as you register, to register a a group. If you have any issues contact [email protected]

What is included in the pre-conference training?

Pre-conference training includes access to purchase either a half-day, full-day or two-day training, depending on your selection. If you signed up for certification, a certification prep course, and an exam, the exam is hosted online and can be taken up to 2 months after the conference. A voucher will be sent to you separately to take the exam.

How do I qualify for a group rate for training?

Group rates are offered to groups of four or more attendees registering for training together. Contact [email protected] to receive a group rate discount code.

How will the training be in a virtual setting?

Training will be a fully live experience, with access to TAs and the instructor during the class. The only exception will be the pre-recorded, free, follow-along training that we will be offering.

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend the event in-person?

All in-person attendees will be required to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Fully vaccinated is defined as 2 weeks (14 full days) after the final dose of a government-approved vaccine.

I would like to learn more about the health measures taken for the event, where can I find that information?

I am a confirmed speaker for the event, what should I do now?

An updated agreement has been sent to all speakers. All speakers will be automatically registered with an in-person conference pass. Please contact Toby Malina with any questions.

Can I participate as a sponsor in the event?

Will I receive more information about how to navigate the in-person and virtual experiences (ie: how to find a session talk) before the event?

We will be sending out a series of emails and blog posts that will help you make the most of your virtual experience.

What if I miss a session I wanted to attend, will sessions be available after the event?

Yes, sessions will be available on-demand on our virtual platform and other channels.

Are there any system requirements to attend the virtual conference?

Yes, Google Chrome, Firefox and Edge are the preferred web browser for the event so please ensure you use one of these. To ensure you get the best experience, please also turn off any company VPN settings to optimize your experience. Please ensure you are using one of the below-operating systems to optimize your experience:

  • Windows 7
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows 10 (includes Surface Pro 3 & 4
  • macOS Mojave (10.14)
  • macOS Catalina (10.15)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 (via Chrome only)

What is the best device to attend the virtual part of the event?

The virtual event platform can run on both mobile and desktop/laptop systems, however, for the best experience, a desktop/laptop computer is recommended.

Cancellation, Refund, and Substitution Policy

Substitutions/Registration Transfer

Substitution requests can be processed in person onsite or via written request at [email protected].  If requested in writing, please provide the names and emails of both the original and substitute registrants with both parties copied in the email. All requests for substitutions must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. (Pacific) on June 24, 2022.   Onsite substitutions will incur a US $50 processing fee.


The Databricks Registration Team must receive all cancellation requests in writing via email at [email protected] by June 21, 2022.

Payment Information

Payment accepted in US dollars only.

All paid items (such as training or in person registration packages) will be refunded to the original form of payment.

We will issue a full refund, less a 10% fee, for written cancellation requests received on or before May 23, 2022 at 11:59 PM PT.  Cancellation requests received between May 24, 2022 and June 20, 2021 at 11:59 PM PT, will be issued a 50% refund, less a 10% cancellation fee.  No refunds will be offered for paid items after June 21, 2022.

Refunds will be processed 5 to 7 business days after the cancellation request has been processed and confirmed to the method of payment on the attendee record.  If you have not received a refund by July 1, 2022, please contact the Databricks Registration Team at [email protected].

Please note: Any requests to change the payment method used for a completed registration will incur a $50 change fee. If you need to make a change, please contact the Databricks Registration Team at: [email protected].  Databricks reserves the right to deny registration to any individual or entity for any reason, in Databricks’s sole discretion, including for past or present failure to meet Databricks’s standards of conduct (including, but not limited to, engaging in violent, illegal, threatening, or discriminatory conduct).    Payment terms are Net 30.  Payment must be received in full to print attendee badge on-site.
