As the agent builder Kasal evolves, we are transitioning MetricsJet/Converter from an award-winning innovation into a first-class backend capability. Originally developed by David Schwarzenbacher and Kyle Hale, MetricsJet solves a critical blocker for Unity Catalog (UC) adoption: the automated translation of complex reporting logic (e.g., Power BI measures) into governed, reusable UC Metrics.By embedding this capability directly into Kasal, we eliminate fragmentation and provide a seamless migration path for downstream analytics. This strategic alignment follows a milestone-heavy quarter, including winning the FE Product Innovation Award and receiving strong validation from the UC Metrics Product team. With proven demand from global enterprises like Nestlé, EY, and Coca-Cola HBC, we are now finalizing the code integration to combine MetricsJet with Kasal’s core architecture. This session explores how this unified approach accelerates governance and simplifies the Lakehouse journey.
