Governed Data Sharing at Scale: UBS RiskLab + LSEG via Unity Catalog and Delta Sharing

UBS and LSEG will jointly present how Databricks Unity Catalog and its Delta Sharing capabilities enable LSEG to provide UBS RiskLab: the bank’s model development lab platform, with direct, compliant access to LSEG’s extensive financial data products. This gives UBS data scientists governed, auditable self-service access, accelerating raw data exploration, business intelligence and rapid prototyping of Data and AI solutions under a robust control framework.

The UBS RiskLab team will demonstrate how analytics are accelerated by securely combining UBS internal data with LSEG Delta Share data through Unity Catalog, with policy-based entitlements and centralized governance. This approach reduces the lengthy, siloed analysis typically associated with onboarding external data feeds. With the Unity Catalog AI Assistant and Genie, data scientists can quickly and confidently derive insights from a unified view of UBS internal and LSEG external data.
