Delta Lake Universal Format, or UniForm for short, expands Delta Lake's connector ecosystem to every tool in your architecture. With UniForm, you only need to store your data once to make it available to any engine that supports any of the primary open table formats: Linux Foundation Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, and soon, Apache Hudi. UniForm does this by creating Iceberg or Hudi metadata alongside Delta Lake, while maintaining a single copy of the underlying Parquet data files.
In this session, we'll explain how you can use Delta Lake UniForm to migrate from Snowflake's proprietary storage format to an open lakehouse architecture."
