Implementing the Lakehouse, from BI to AI

Based on the data mesh architecture, the data team at ABN Amro will present their unified, domain-driven data and AI platform that they have built centrally with Databricks to enable data engineering & (Gen)AI at scale for one of the largest Dutch banks. ABN AMRO is highly regulated as a bank and must comply with strict industry regulations. This session will showcase how ABN AMRO realizes compliance with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform in terms of lineage, data sharing, and model management with Unity Catalog.
