Power S&P Capital IQ Data Apps with Databricks and Plotly

S&P Capital IQ Data Applications are a visual-based application suite that empower users to analyze deep data based on specific workflows, such as trending topics from earnings call transcripts. CIQ Data Apps leverage S&P Global's data, solutions, and expertise and are powered by Databricks and Plotly, which provide faster, performant, and visually compelling analytics.

The session will cover three parts of designing data applications:

• Data Source: using S&P Global data (Delta tables for storage optimization and performance / Workflows for orchestration)
• Processing: Databricks SQL Serverless for easy-to-use, scalable end-points to access the final gold layer data
• Dash Enterprise, Plotly: to easily create and deploy interactive data visualizations and analytic applications, leveraging Plotly's powerful visualization capabilities to communicate complex data insights clearly.

By the end of the session, we'll have covered how CIQ Data Apps are designed, developed, and deployed as well as demo live applications used by clients.
