The Databricks-developed UCX project aims to optimize the Unity Catalog (UC) upgrade process, ensuring a seamless transition for businesses. This project is designed to minimize business disruptions during upgrades, reduce both the complexity and cost associated with the upgrade process, and maximize the automation of upgrade-related tasks by adhering to best practices.
