Curtis Northcutt is a multi-time founder and CEO of Cleanlab, an AI software company that automatically finds and improves any dataset in the enterprise AI stack, reducing the time and cost for data curation and annotation, and improving machine learning model performance. He completed his PhD at MIT, where he invented confident learning, the foundation of Cleanlab’s algorithms for fixing label issues in any dataset. Curtis is a recipient of the MIT Morris Levin Thesis Award, the NSF Fellowship, and the Goldwater Scholarship and worked at several leading AI research groups including Google, Oculus, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, and NASA.
