Dario Amodei is the CEO and Co-Founder of Anthropic, an AI lab whose research and products put safety at the frontier. As a public benefit corporation, Anthropic is dedicated to ensuring the world safely makes the transition through transformative AI.

Dario is known for his work on AI safety and is the co-inventor of the reinforcement learning from human feedback technique, a method for training AI systems to align with human values and preferences. This method has been used to create reliable and controllable AI models, including those developed by Anthropic. Additionally, his foundational research on scaling laws revolutionized the AI industry by providing a framework for understanding and predicting the capabilities of advanced AI systems.

Prior to co-founding Anthropic, Dario served as the Vice President of Research at OpenAI, where he led the development of large language models such as GPT-2 and GPT-3. Before OpenAI, Dario was a Senior Research Scientist at Google Brain.
