Jeanne Choo is the APJ ML Lead at Databricks. She started as AI Engineer #1 at AI Singapore, building their consulting arm, apprenticeship program and technical stack from scratch. Jeanne was then AI Lead at Bank of Singapore. Her best projects have been APAC-specific, for example, Japanese Search Query Understanding, Speech Recognition models for Singlish, and building NLP models and corpuses for Indonesian. Each of these projects faced similar MLOps challenges; to be at Databricks solving these issues is very exciting for Jeanne.
