Josh is Vice President of Engineering at Dropbox, responsible for AI engineering and building Dropbox Dash – our new AI-powered universal search and knowledge management tool.
Prior to joining Dropbox in 2024, he was Sr Director of Engineering at Uber, leading the Uber Eats food delivery team. Notably, he started the Uber Eats AI team – improving the experience across marketplace ranking, search, recommendations, and conversational AI.
He earned his M.S. in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and B.S. in Computer Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
