Julia Jose is a Computer Science Ph.D. candidate at New York University, advised by Rachel Greenstadt, focusing on responsible and trustworthy AI. She is also an Applied AI Engineer at King Street, where she builds and deploys large language model–driven systems in production. Her work uses natural language processing and deep learning to study misinformation, propaganda, and manipulative behavior in LLMs, with an emphasis on detection and mitigation at scale.
Previously, Julia worked as a Data Scientist at Atos building production ML systems, and as a Venture Capital and Machine Learning Fellow at Atento Capital. She has also conducted R&D in multilingual NLP and social computing at the Qatar Computing Research Institute.
