Kate Ostbye is Senior Director of AI Innovation and Data Science at Pfizer, where she leads a team of data scientists and AI engineers to develop cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for Research and Development. Her leadership extends to co-leading her local chapter of the Pfizer Women’s Resource group (PWR), fostering a supportive community for women.
Kate earned her B.S. in English and Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she researched neurodegenerative genes in fruit flies, and her M.P.H. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she studied cardiac imaging.
Her career is centered on improving patients’ lives and characterized by a commitment to innovation and excellence.
