Ming Dai is a Software Engineer at Databricks. He has been leading the evolution of Convert To Delta and developing the Shallow/Deep Clone from Iceberg/Parquet to Delta. Ming has a background in data analytic infrastructure, prior to Databricks, he worked at Google and Oracle. Ming received his MS in EE at University of California, Los Angeles and his BS in BME at Zhejiang University.
