Databricks
I joined Databricks in 2022 after working as Senior Director of Product (data and analytics) at Route.
Prior to Route I worked at Nike for 3 years in a few roles: product leader driving a data warehouse transformation; shaping Data Strategy for business units; and leading the Advanced Compute platform enabling data and analytics engineering. In between these roles I spent a year at Bonterra (nee EveryAction) helping the team grow their data services and analytics capabilities.
Before Nike I founded and ran a services firm over 12 years selling, architecting and implementing custom solutions requiring complex, secure data processing with integrations to 3rd party entities (e.g. payment authorization, offline processors, clinical labs) and platform CRMs (e.g. Salesforce).
Prior to that I directed data architecture and development for a SaaS start-up focused on customer engagement and advocacy where my team was responsible for all data architecture and infrastructure.
I spent the first 8 years of my career as a statistician working in government, pharmaceuticals and commercial aircraft; as a solution architect/technical sales enablement for SAS in banking and pharma; and as a programmer in housing and analytic/quality control startups.
My technical strengths are analytic databases, data engineering and analysis including ensuring regional privacy, security and regulatory compliance.
