As Head of Data, Ryan leads the firm's efforts in the alternative data space. He is charged with building out processes to access and analyze data as well as with helping the firm's fundamental investment professionals monetize insights drawn from that data. Before joining in 2024, Ryan led the data effort at Armistice Capital, and before that headed up the Sector Data Analyst team at Citadel’s Ashler Capital. Prior to his time on the buyside, Ryan was part of the early team at YipitData. He also worked as a sell side analyst at Credit Suisse covering the Asset Manager subsector of financials. Ryan has an undergraduate degree from the University of California - Los Angeles, as well as an MBA from New York University.
