Victoria Espinel
Victoria Espinel is the CEO of BSA | The Software Alliance. She shapes cutting-edge global policy issues including AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and digital trade in 20+ countries. Prior to BSA, Victoria served President Obama as the first White House “IP Czar” and under President Bush as the first chief US trade negotiator for IP and innovation. Victoria serves on President Biden’s National AI Advisory Committee, on the Board of Directors for ChIPs, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, launched Girls Who Code in Washington, DC, and is a frequent speaker on tech policy. She holds an LLM from LSE and a JD and BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. She is the proud owner of Jewel of the South restaurant in New Orleans.
