Vijayan Prabhakaran is a Senior Staff Engineer at Databricks. He is passionate about building high performance and reliable distributed systems, particularly for large scale data analytics. At Databricks, Vijayan leads the effort to make Delta simple and easy to use. He has a PhD in Computer Science from University of Wisconsin Madison and started his career as a Researcher at Microsoft Research. He has published in several top-tier academic conferences and holds many patents.
