Orchestration Made Easy With Databricks Workflows

Unleash the value of SAP data in Databricks - self-service data science without any middleware

SAP data is of utmost relevance for a vast number of Databricks projects. Access is either granted by third-party or SAP tools. These current integration solutions require expert knowledge and time to implement. Thus, they are fundamentally contrary to the agile development method, where a self-service explorative working style with low technical hurdles is highly desired by Data Scientists.

In this session we introduce our Databricks solution to directly connect to SAP without the need of an intermediary extraction tool. With a few lines of notebook code a Data Scientist is enabled to independently and interactively load SAP data, such as Tables or ODP Objects (SAP extractors, CDS views, BW objects, HANA calculation views, etc.).
