Mary Clair is a Lead Data Engineer in the Office of Information Technology at Duke University. Her background is in mathematics; she holds a Ph.D. in the subject with a specialization in Lie Groups. She began her career in academia but eventually chose to transition into an industrial career. At Duke she has joined her love for academia with her technical passions and is excited to pursue data engineering in the service of the academic community.
