Pfizer has transformed clinical trial data exchange by moving from manual, batch-oriented ingestion to a real-time, cross-organizational architecture. Previously, fragmented systems delayed data access and complicated collaboration with research partners. This session explains how Pfizer and RCC used Delta Sharing and UC to enable secure, live data access across different cloud providers and platforms.
What you will learn
- Real-time architecture: move from 24-hr batch cycles to 5-min readiness
- Cross-cloud sharing: share live data between Azure, AWS and external CDMS platforms without egress complexity
- Simplified governance: managing strict Life Sciences compliance and data privacy at scale using Unity Catalog
- Operational efficiency: reducing costs by consolidating legacy orchestration into serverless compute and unified workflows.
- Interoperability: facilitated direct sharing between REDCap Cloud’s CDMS and Pfizer’s internal analytics environment for faster clinical decision-making
