Adam Towne is a Director of Product at LSEG, where he leads Lipper, the firm's fund analytics business, and owns data distribution across Analytics. With over a decade building data and analytics products in financial services, he focuses on serving sophisticated institutional users — quants, portfolio managers, and analysts who treat data as critical infrastructure. His current work spans cloud delivery, enterprise data licensing, and applying AI to fund research workflows. His product philosophy centers on designing for power users — what he calls "optimizing for the 1,000th use, not the first." He holds a degree in engineering from Cornell University.
