Alan Reese is a Resident Solutions Architect at Databricks. Over the past year he's been embedded with Boeing's data and architecture teams, co-developing the quality and governance pattern in this session — ODCS contracts, DQX enforcement, and Unity Catalog wired into CI/CD — and has led workshops on it at Boeing and across the Databricks community. He also supports multi-quarter energy engagements and has architected end-to-end agentic GenAI solutions with Agent Bricks, Agent Framework, and Genie. Before Databricks, Alan spent a decade as a data leader, most recently Principal Data Architect at Cotton Holdings, where he built the team and greenfield lakehouse that became the company's first modern data platform.
