Reese

Alan Reese is a Resident Solutions Architect at Databricks, where he has spent much of the past year embedded with Boeing's data and architecture teams, collaborating on the quality and governance framework featured in this session — ODCS contracts, DQX enforcement, and Unity Catalog integrated with CI/CD. He has led enablement workshops on the pattern across Boeing's federated teams and within the broader Databricks community. Alan also supports multi-quarter engagements in the energy vertical and has architected end-to-end agentic Gen AI solutions using Agent Bricks, the Agent Framework, and Genie. Before Databricks, he spent over a decade as a data leader, most recently as Principal Data Architect at Cotton Holdings, where he built the team and greenfield lakehouse that established the company's first modern data platform. He holds BS and MS degrees from Texas A&M University.
