Bogdan Kyryliuk is a Technical Lead at Databricks, where he architects cost governance and data platform solutions to manage hundreds of thousands of workloads for the company's massive internal deployment. Previously, as a Staff Software Engineer at Dropbox, he led a monumental Hive-to-Databricks migration and scaled their analytics ecosystem, building on his prior data infrastructure experience at Opendoor, Airbnb, and YouTube. When he is not optimizing distributed data systems, Bogdan is an avid sports enthusiast who can be found snowboarding, surfing, playing volleyball, or on the soccer pitch.
