As a Senior Data Engineer with nine years of hands-on experience, I specialize in architecting and optimizing scalable data platforms that power business transformation. My work spans leading large-scale on-premise to cloud migrations, where I've championed reimagined, cloud-native solutions over simple lift-and-shift approaches. I'm passionate about elevating data quality and building robust observability into every layer of the data stack, ensuring reliable, actionable insights at scale. I’m currently leading a big project in Fonterra which is focussed on migrating a legacy system called ‘MAS’ which uses tools like SQL and SSIS to a modern data platform built completely on Databricks.
