Ian Tetlow is a Senior Technical Leader within SAP SE’s ECS Defensive Architecture team, where he leads the technical direction of GuardTower, a centralized Databricks-based security data lake focused on large-scale cyber defence and observability. With more than 25 years of experience in data engineering and over 15 years delivering Big Data and cloud-native solutions, Ian has designed and led enterprise-scale platforms across cybersecurity, real-time streaming, analytics, and cloud transformation initiatives. His background spans SAP, Deutsche Bank, BT Cyber Defence, and the UK Office for National Statistics, with deep expertise in Databricks, Hadoop ecosystems, ETL, cloud architecture, and security-focused data platforms.
