Jacques has spent the last 25+ years building data infrastructure, focused on decomposable data systems. He is the co-creator of Apache Arrow, Substrait, Apache Drill, Project Nessie and co-founded Dremio. He was also an active early member of the Apache Iceberg, Apache Parquet and Apache Calcite communities. He is now focused on bringing the same OSS-forward decomposable patterns of the Lakehouse to agent orchestration as Founder at colony2.org.
