Bioinformatic Data Engineer, Children's Cancer Institute
I am a Bioinformatics Data Engineer at Children's Cancer Institute, where I architected the Databricks Lakehouse powering ZERO Childhood Cancer, Australia and New Zealand's nationwide precision medicine program for pediatric cancer. I built the Lakehouse using Terraform across a hybrid setup of on-premise and cloud object storage, and designed distributed Spark pipelines that query billions of genomic variants alongside real-time clinical data. My work sits at the intersection of bioinformatics, infrastructure, and clinical impact, helping deliver molecular profiling and treatment recommendations for children with cancer. I have a background in Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, and Data Science.
