Junyoung Chang is a Staff Data Engineer at Musinsa, Korea's leading fashion platform, where he works on the architecture of a large e-commerce data ecosystem. Across quick-commerce, crypto, EV mobility, and fashion tech, he has built data infrastructure from the ground up: real-time pipelines, lineage systems, schema governance, and semantic layers. It comes back to one question: whether teams must trade productivity, latency, and cost against one another. His approach is to stop building tables and build logic, separating meaning from the tables beneath it so the reasoning behind a number lives in code, not in someone's head. His goal is to make trusted data easy for everyone, so data-driven decisions become routine, not a privilege.
