Kai Pak is Director of Engineering at the Accelerator, an international research consortium housed at Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs. The Accelerator builds shared tools to improve the speed and quality of research on the information environment. Kai leads the platform's technical development, spanning data infrastructure, applied ML, and large-scale pipeline engineering. Prior to Princeton, he spent several years at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory working on machine learning and remote sensing applications. He holds master's degrees in Applied Physics from Columbia University and Computer Science from UIUC.
