Max Marcussen is an AI Engineer on Databricks’s AI Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team. This team delivers professional services engagements to help our customers build and productionize first-of-its-kind AI applications. The team also works cross-functionally with engineering and research to shape product direction.
Max has worked with customers in manufacturing, life sciences, CPG, and financial services on production-grade GenAI projects, including multi-agent systems, intelligent document processing use cases, RAG, and text-to-SQL solutions. His work frequently involves designing evaluation frameworks with LLM judges and using prompt optimization techniques like GEPA to systematically improve agent quality.
