Nick Evangelopoulos is a Sr Manager of Data Science at 7-Eleven since 2019, focusing on developing new IT and Analytics capabilities. His projects include predictive modeling and recommender solutions in an automated, large scale Azure Databricks Spark cluster environment. He has managed multiple cross-functional teams of data engineers, ML engineers, and data scientists, supporting scalable data solutions across merchandising, pricing, and store operations. Prior to 2019, as an academic, he worked for 19 years to develop cutting-edge methods in text analytics and applied statistics, and deliver world-class training in data science, IT, and analytics.
