Nuno is a Director of AI Forward Deployed Engineering at Databricks, leading a specialized team that builds and productionizes first-of-its-kind AI applications. With 20 years of AI/ML experience - 12 in commercial leadership -he excels at moving AI from experimentation to live production. Previously, he was Sr. Manager of Applied Science at AWS, delivering 150+ GenAI and Agentic AI projects. His background includes 8 years at Expedia Group directing global data science for Search and Personalization, and fighting fraud at Feedzai. Nuno holds a PhD in CS/ML and began his career in R&D at Nokia-Siemens.
