Rani Johnson is the CIO at Workday where she oversees the company’s global IT organization, with responsibility for the internal deployment of Workday products.
Prior to joining Workday, Rani served as CIO at Cloud Software Group (CSG) where she was responsible for developing the vision and overall business strategy of the IT organization. Preceding CSG, she served as CIO at TIBCO, SVP and CIO of SolarWinds, and CIO at the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA).
Rani began her career interning at NASA Johnson Space Center and was part of a team that had code deployed on the International Space Station.
Rani holds dual degrees in electrical engineering and general engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Spelman College.
