Rick Schultz
Rick Schultz joined Databricks in 2017 as Chief Marketing Officer. He leads the company’s worldwide marketing efforts, spanning product marketing, demand generation, branding and creative, global communications, events and field marketing as well as community evangelism. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Alteryx, helping fuel its growth from early stage (Series A) to pre-IPO and from 100 customers to over 2,200. Rick also ran technology product marketing for Oracle from 2008 to 2012, leading the positioning, content and demand generation strategies for a broad, $6 billion portfolio of database, analytics, security and management products. He holds a BS in Finance from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
