Samrat is responsible for enterprise security for the Databricks platform including security of the serverless platform, encryption, data protection and privacy. In his previous role at Google, he has led several industry-leading products such as VPC Service Controls and Cloud SQL from concept to scale. Samrat is a founding PM of Istio and led the vision for zero-trust security in modern production environments.
