Zhou Sun is a Senior Engineering Manager in Databricks Lakebase team, responsible for connecting Lakebase across the broader Databricks Platform.
He spends more than a decade exploring the space in between OLTP and OLAP. Prior to his current role, Zhou was co-founder and CEO of Mooncake Labs (acquired by Databricks), a startup bridging the gap between Postgres and the Lakehouse ecosystem. and earlier director of engineering at SingleStore working on HTAP query-engine.
