Genie benefits significantly from the presence of column metadata. In this talk we will describe the various components that feed into a high-quality Genie space and review some code you can use to populate the base Unity Catalog column metadata in bulk. The code makes use of customizable prompts and optional data sampling to produce high-quality metadata across entire schemas or even catalogs.
