David Schwarzenbacher is a Senior Solutions Architect at Databricks in Zurich, where he architects data and AI platforms for Fortune 500 enterprises. He is the co-creator of Kasal, an agentic AI platform on the Databricks Marketplace, and MetricsJet, an award-winning BI semantic layer translator - winner of the FE Product Innovation Award.
Prior to Databricks, David led an 8-person engineering team at Coca-Cola HBC managing a 450TB data platform, and conducted neural network research at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and Disney Research Zurich. He holds a BSc & MSc in Health Data Science from Heidelberg University (A+), an engineering degree in environmental technology and an MBA in Business Management.
