Karol Zemko is the current Head of Data Platforms Engineering in Česká spořitelna responsible for platform design, adoption of new features and roadmap planning for the complete data platform stack (Databricks, Snowflake, Cloudera, Oracle)
His previous experience as Lead Architect in several projects for international clients gave him the opportunity to build specialized scalable platforms but targeted for a specific use-case. Model training & MLOPS, Warehousing/Reporting, building AI systems and so on.
Now he uses this experience to realize Česká spořitelna‘s and by extension, Erste‘s Group vision, of a unified Databricks platform.
