Tai is an AI Engineer at AI Singapore, who's dived (happily) into the art of crafting virtual wordsmiths for the Southeast Asian region. With a keen interest in Natural Language Processing (NLP), he has tackled traditional core NLP tasks for Indonesian with encoder models. More recently, he had also been developing tool-enabled, retrieval-augmented shopping assistants for local fashion retailers. Today, Tai is dedicated to fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) to better accommodate the linguistic diversity of Southeast Asian languages.
