Jonathan leads the Dicer team at Databricks, where he focuses on designing and building core infrastructure primitives and abstractions for in-memory, stateful services. He works closely with product teams to understand real-world challenges and to develop solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency at large scale. A central part of his work is identifying recurring patterns across services and distilling them into shared infrastructure that can be reused across the organization.
Jonathan’s broader interests center on defining the right primitives and building blocks for constructing distributed systems that are reliable, scalable, and high-performance by default.
