Governance Atlas by Entrada

Governance Atlas is a native, workspace-portable Databricks App that transforms Unity Catalog into a product-grade governance operating surface. It replaces fragmented manual processes and costly third-party catalogs with a single Databricks-native experience for asset discovery, lineage, and stewardship. 

The app reads live Unity Catalog and system table metadata through a Databricks SQL Warehouse, then stores governance state (ownership, glossary terms, and change requests) in a human-readable, version- controlled Delta layer. Deployed directly into your workspace via Declarative Automation Bundles, Governance Atlas pushes authoritative updates back into Unity Catalog, closing the loop between discovery and active stewardship.
