Databricks Workflows

In this brief demonstration, we give you a first look at Databricks Workflows. Workflows is a fully managed orchestration service, integrated with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

Workflows lets you easily define, manage and monitor multi-task workflows for ETL, analytics and machine learning pipelines with a wide range of supported task types, deep observability capabilities and high reliability.

 

Note - at Data + AI Summit in June 2025, Databricks released Lakeflow. Lakeflow unifies Data Engineering with Lakeflow Connect, Spark Declarative Pipelines (previously known as DLT), and Lakeflow Jobs (previously known as Workflows).
