Databricks Support Policy Spark & AI Assistance
This Databricks Support Policy for Spark & AI Assistance describes Databricks services that are not part of SAP support, and instead provides the terms for additional Databricks benefits which are separately available from Databricks to customers of BDC service subscriptions.
Databricks Spark & AI Assistance provides access to Spark, Data Science, ML, AI and Data Engineering experts from Databricks for advanced application debugging of customer-specific code, as well as knowledge and assistance designed for the unique needs of Customers using Databricks as part of the SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).

Additional Terms
- Databricks Terms. Spark & AI Assistance services from Databricks are solely provided by Databricks, pursuant to customers’ separate Databricks contract referencing this Support Policy. Spark & AI Assistance services from Databricks are not part of the BDC subscription or the embedded SAP support services. SAP has no responsibility or any liability for Databricks Spark & AI Assistance.
- Access. To access Spark & AI Assistance, BDC customers may submit a Request via SAP as described in the respective BDC user documentation. This method for initiating a Service Request for Spark & AI Assistance via SAP is provided as a convenience to BDC customers (and SAP has no responsibility for Spark & AI Assistance).
- Databricks Availability Hours for Spark & AI Assistance. Databricks availability business hours are from Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM (North America time zones (EST/CST/PST/MST), Central Europe (CET), Singapore/China (SGT/CST) and Australia Eastern (AET) Timezone), based on the Customer’s account address provided in the Spark & AI Assistance Service Request.
- Separate Advisory Services. Additional assistance for complex matters beyond what is included in Spark & AI Assistance (such as code development, use case productization, migration, and other major activities) can be purchased as Databricks Advisory Services which will be delivered by the Databricks Professional Services team.
