This course is designed to provide you with the essential details to integrate the Databricks Platform with AWS services.The AWS services covered in this course are S3,Kinesis,Redshift and Bedrock.
The content was developed for participants with these skills/knowledge/abilities:
• Familiarity with AWS cloud fundamentals, specifically S3 object storage, IAM roles, and Instance Profiles.
• Working knowledge of the Databricks platform, including Notebooks, Compute resources, and Spark architecture (Drivers/Executors).
• Understanding of Unity Catalog governance objects, including Metastores, Catalogs, Storage Credentials, and External Locations.
• Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts such as Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), CIDR blocks, and Security Groups.
• Foundational knowledge of real-time data streaming concepts and services like Amazon Kinesis.
• Familiarity with data warehousing principles, Amazon Redshift architecture, and JDBC connectivity patterns.
• Intermediate proficiency in PySpark and SQL for data manipulation and configuring read/write operations.
