Andy Konwinski

Andy is a VP of Product Management at Databricks focused on AI applications. Previously he built the professional service and education departments, and before that he oversaw the company’s early marketing efforts including the creation of the Spark Summit (now Data + AI Summit). Prior to Databricks Andy got his PhD in Computer Science in the AMPLab at UC Berkeley where he was a co-creator of Apache Mesos, creator of the AMP Camp conference series, and a founding Committer and PMC member of Apache Spark
