Enterprise Solutions Architect for Healthcare & Life Sciences at Databricks

Parastou Eslami, Ph.D., is an Enterprise Solutions Architect for Healthcare & Life Sciences at Databricks with over 12 years of experience designing and deploying AI systems across regulated environments. Her deep understanding of HCLS bottlenecks stems from extensive work spanning both clinical settings and advanced life sciences research. In addition to leading AI-enabled diagnostic imaging platforms as a Faculty of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Clinical Innovation Director at Philips, she has spearheaded multi-omics pipeline development and machine learning methodologies for biomarker discovery with the NASA Human Research Program.

Today at Databricks, Parastou addresses these industry bottlenecks by architecting developer-ready AI/GenAI platforms that unify complex, multimodal data—including imaging, EHR/FHIR, text, and omics—for both healthcare and life sciences organizations. By bridging deep AI expertise with real-world execution, she helps clients overcome traditional data silos to deploy scalable, trusted AI solutions. She holds a Ph.D. in Biomechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, alongside engineering degrees from Stanford University and UC Berkeley.
