Andy Kofoid

Andy brings nearly three decades of experience building and transforming high-growth software and cloud businesses. As the President, Global Field Operations, Andy is responsible for all aspects of the Databricks customer journey, from brand awareness to renewals. Andy’s team includes worldwide sales, field engineering, marketing, customer success, support, professional services, and alliances.

Prior to Databricks, Andy served as the President of North American Sales at Salesforce, a $12B+ business unit with 8,000+ employees. He also held executive positions as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Salesforce leading their B2C and Marketing Cloud businesses. Prior to that, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at ExactTarget. During his tenure, ExactTarget went public in 2012 on the NYSE and was acquired by Salesforce in 2013 for $2.6B. Before joining ExactTarget, Andy led an International Business while serving as Vice President of EMEA, living in both London and Paris, at Dassault Systemes. He also held other executive positions within the US. Preceding Dassault Systemes, Andy served in sales and sales management positions at Oracle Corporation and IBM.

Andy graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He resides in Chicago with his wife and 3 kids.
