Genie for Business Users

In this course, you will learn how to use Databricks AI/BI Genie to interact with your organization's data using natural language. As a business user, you will learn how to locate and access Genie spaces, ask effective data questions using the SPARK framework, validate and interpret Genie responses, generate visualizations from results, provide feedback to Genie space administrators, and share insights with colleagues. This course covers both standard Genie interactions and Genie Agent Mode for deeper exploratory analysis, empowering business users to go beyond static dashboards and get self-service answers from governed, secure data.

Prerequisites

The content was developed for participants with these skills/knowledge/abilities:

• Basic familiarity with data concepts (tables, columns, metrics).

• No SQL or coding knowledge required.

• A basic understanding of business intelligence concepts such as dashboards and KPIs.
